Most people who come to me as beginners say the same thing: they've tried commercial gyms and found them intimidating, confusing, or just not for them.
I get it. Walking into a crowded gym when you don't know what you're doing is genuinely uncomfortable.
At Oryan Fitness, there are no crowds. No one watching you. No pressure to keep up with anyone else. Private training without distractions. It's just you and your coach, working through things at your pace.
What Beginner Training Looks Like Here
I don't throw you in at the deep end. We build from the ground up.
We start with how you move. Before we touch any weights, I check your posture and movement patterns. This tells me what's tight, what's weak, and where to focus.
I teach you the basics properly. Squats, deadlifts, presses, and rows. I break each one down step by step until you feel confident.
No judgment, no rushing. You can ask questions. You can go slowly. There's no one else in the gym to feel self-conscious around.
Simple nutrition guidance. I give you a practical recipe book and a basic macronutrient guide. Nothing complicated.
About Omar Ryan
I've been coaching clients since 2016 and opened Oryan Fitness in Islington in 2023 [I]. I work as an external tutor, assessor, and subject matter specialist (SSL) for leading UK personal training qualification providers, including TRAINFITNESS. This means I spend my time helping develop the next generation of personal trainers, breaking down complex movement patterns into simple, learnable steps. I'm also Exercise Referral qualified, meaning I can safely adapt training plans for clients with medical conditions or old injuries

Free Consultation: We sit down and talk. I ask about your goals, your history, and anything that's held you back.
Complimentary Taster Session: You come in, we do a gentle movement check, and I take you through a basic session. No pressure, no commitment.
Your Training Plan: If you want to continue, I build a plan around your body and your goals.
